SAN ANTONIO – According to Johnson HS principal Gary Comalander, two Johnson High School students were killed in a violent crash involving two vehicles on the north side on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened at 3:50 p.m. on Saturday, in the 23200 block of Bulverde Road and TPC Parkway, near the entrance to the school.
It is not known what led to the crash, but MPs said the impact caused both vehicles to burn, trapping both drivers. Both were declared deceased at the scene.
Some students, parents and school staff gathered at the crash site on Sunday afternoon and kept watch for the two students.
A letter was also sent to the student body and parents of Principal Comalander on Sunday, saying that the counselors and support of the counselors in the STAN district will be available to all students.
