MEAD, Wash. — A shipment of COVID-19 testing supplies has made its way to the Mead School District (MSD), allowing them to resume their Test-To-Stay program, the district announced Monday.
MSD had to halt testing last week as supplies ran out. Students and staff have been told to stay home and sports have been suspended.
Now the district is offering Tuesday and Wednesday testing sites at Midway Elementary School, Evergreen Elementary School and the gymnasium south of Union Stadium.
Students whose last name begins with AM are asked to come between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm, NZ at 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
For student-athletes, MSD said to await communication from the coaching staff.
Symptomatic students are also encouraged to visit these test sites.
