Stroll the safe and warm halls of Keystone Elementary School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at 531 Opportunity Way in LaGrange from November 30 to April 28 – days the school is open, according to a statement Press.
Follow the course from the ground floor (five laps equals one mile) or follow the course of the stairs (five laps equals 1.1 miles), according to a press release.
Enter through the front doors of Keystone Elementary School and log into the indoor walking table.
Participation is free and all ages are welcome.
If the school is canceled due to weather, the indoor walk is also canceled.
According to the 2019 Lorain County Community Health Assessment, adults in Lorain County were the most likely to rate their physical health as poor if they lived in a rural area (43%).
The Keystone Empowers You (KEY) collaboration is dedicated to bringing new health resources to residents of the local Keystone school district, the statement said.
KEY also strives to make the healthy choice the easy choice.
â¢ Borrow a blood pressure cuff from the Keystone-LaGrange Public Library and borrow this travel blood pressure monitor for three weeks, like you would borrow a book.
â¢ Join Silver Sneakers if you are 65 or over. Some insurance covers these classes, run by the YMCA and held at LaGrange United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (yoga) and Fridays.
