The Baraboo School District is in full swing as the 2022-23 school year has begun.

Next week is homecoming at Baraboo High School. On Friday night, October 7, the varsity football team takes on Onalaska at Beryl Newman Stadium.

At the September 26 meeting of the Baraboo School Board, congratulations were extended to Gordon L. Willson Elementary School in Baraboo. It was one of eight schools in the state of Wisconsin to be named the 2022 National Blue Ribbon School by U.S. Secretary of Education Dr. Miguel Cardona.

The school in Baraboo School District is one of 297 schools nationwide to be recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School.
